Dadibou-MP-Tahun Akademik 2020,program vokasih universitas mataram program studi di luar domisili kabupaten hima ( persiapan politeknik negeri bima) kembali menerima mahasiswa baru untuk tiga program studi yaitu prodi kesehatan hewan,priduksi ternak,dan budidaya perairan.
Wakil direktur II vokasi unram PPD bima Nadira karimatul ilmi,sp,m,si,mengatakan,kampus yang didirikan tahun 2014 lalu telah menamatkan alumi 3 angkatan sebanyak 150 orang dengan total mahasiswa sebanyak 350 orang.Di jelaskan Nadira.
Visi yang diemban vokasi PPD bima yaitu menjadi lembaga pebdidikan vokasional yang menghasilkan lulusan bermutu trampil dan berdaya saing dalam bidang IPTEK yang berlandaskan iman dan taqwa.
Untuk mewujudkan cita-cita ini lanjutnya,sistim pendidikan menggunakan sistim paket yang tersusun dalam bentuk ekuliah,field trip,praktikum pratekkerja lapangan (PKL) dan tugas akhir dengan total muatan program sebesar 110 hingga 120 SKS dengan proposi 40% kuliah tatap muka dan 60% pratikum di laboratorium dan lapanga.
“Alumi yang dihasilkan diharapkan memiliki kompetensi dalam merencanakan,memproduksi dan memasarkan produk bermutu aman dan kompetitif di pasar lokal maupun nasional.
Demikian pemaparan Nadira dalam sosialisasi yang dihelat rabu tgl-17-6-2020 di aula kantor bupati bima.
Di samping itu,alumni diharapkan kreatif dalam melakukan analisis sederhana dengan bantuan teknologi komputerisasi yang tersedia,kreatif dalam rekayasa bagi peningkatan nilai tambah produk pertanian.
” Yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah alumni memiliki kemampuan bekerja mandiri atau berkelompok dengan baik dan memiliki kepekaan dalam menangkap peluang usaha khususnya di sektor pertanian”,Tandas Nadira.
Pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru tes mandiri berlangsung bulan April sampai dengan Agustus 2020.Bagi mahasiswa yang berprestasi,kampus vokasi menyediakan beasiswa.
Dirinya berharap melalui promosi tersebut,para ASN dapat menyampaikan kepada warga di kecematan dan desa masing-masing untuk mengajak keluarga melanjutkan kuliah di kampus vokasi unram bima.(MP.Tim)
