Kab bima-MP-Dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas, kompetensi dan perlindungan pekerja migran indonesia, Badan Perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP2MI) melakukan penandatanganan nota kesepahaman (MoU) dengan Bupati Bima Hj Indah Dhamayanti Putri SE.
MoU tersebut ditandatangani oleh Bupati Bima dengan Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani Kamis di The Stones Hotel Kuta Bali. Pada kesempatan tersebut Bupati didampingi oleh Staf Ahli Drs Ishaka dan Iwan Setiawan, SE, Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Disnakertrans Fatahullah S.Pd dan Kabid Pembinaan, Penempatan Tenaga Kerja dan Perluasan Kerja Ruvaidah, ST, MT.
Selain Kepala BP2MI, acara tersebut juga hadiri Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (MenPAN-RB RI) Tjahjo Kumolo sekaligus membuka secara resmi Rapat Koordinasi Teknis (Rakornis) BP2MI dengan enam kepala daerah dan Gubernur Bali.
Dalam konferensi pers yang berlangsung usai penandatanganan nota kesepakatan tersebut Bupati Bima menyampaikan apresiasi apa yang dilaksanakan oleh BP2MI dalam upaya mengurangi beban pekerja migran berhubungan langsung dengan para calo.
“Kami akan melakukan sosialisasi dan imbauan kepada 191 desa di Kabupaten Bima agar mereka memilih jalur resmi untuk berangkat sebagai pekerja migran dan akan mengoptimalkan pelayanan terpadu satu pintu keimigrasian agar tidak berurusan dengan Calo”. Ungkap Bupati.
Demikian halnya dalam menjamin keselamatan para pekerja migran dan meminimalisir permasalahan mereka hadapi, Pemerintah daerah sudah merumuskan dan memetakan permasalahan yang ada untuk dicarikan solusinya. Tutup Bupati. (prokopim-MP)
