Ada motogp, MXGP, IATC, WSBK, L’etape Indonesia, dan masih banyak event internasional lainnya. masyarakat harus tahu. ” haral Bang Zul panggilan akrabnya, saat membuka Bincang Gemilang dengan tema Hari Pers Nasional Tahun 2022 di” Car Free Day” Halaman Kantor Dinas Kominfotik, Minggu (6/2/2022).
Menurutnya dengan informasi yang positif dan realistis, NTB akan terus mendapatkan kepercayaan dunia dan masyarakat akan merasakan banyak manfaat dari ‘branding’ positif NTB.
Bang Zul juga mengajak para wartawan untuk senantiasa meningkatkan kapasitas, terlebih menurutnya, teknologi metaverse sudah didepan mata.
“Upgrading kompetensi ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh wartawan-wartawan kita saat ini. Saat ini masyarakat cenderung hanya membaca judul berita saja, namun tidak sampai membaca isi atau pesan dari berita tersebut.”ungkap Peneliti Muda Terbaik Indonesia Tahun 2003 tersebut.
Gubernur NTB mengatakan metaverse memiliki potensi yang besar untuk masyarakat bisa berinteraksi,bekerja,belajar dan berkarya.Banyak sektor yang dapat diuntungkan,tak terkecuali penyebaran informasi kepada masyarakat di NTB.
“Dengan metaverse ini jiwa, raga dan perasaan kita dapat berada dimana-mana, sehingga hal ini dapat kita manfaatkan tak terkecuali dalam hal penyebaran informasi yang positif dan informatif” harap Gubernur yang juga masih aktif mengajar di Harvard University tersebut.
Senada dengan hal tersebut, Ketua Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) NTB, Nasrudin, sangat sepakat dengan pernyataan yang disampaikan oleh Gubernur. Upgrading kompetensi untuk wartawan-wartawan khusunya di NTB, diperlukan agar melahirkan wartwan yang semakin berkualitas.
“Membangun kapasitas wartawan sangat diperlukan tentunya untuk menciptakan wartwan lokal yang berkualitas,terlebih lagi Gubernur NTB saat ini memiliki ide-ide yang visioner.Jadi keinginan saya mengajak teman-teman wartwan agar memahami apa yang diinginakan oleh publik dan apa yang diinginkan Gubernur berjalan selaras demi mewujudkan NTB Gemilang” ungkapnya.
Sebelumnya,Kepala Dinas Kominfotik Provinsi NTB Dr. Najamuddin Amy, S. Sos., MM.menerangkan Provinsi NTB di tahun 2021 memilik banyak prestasi yang gemilang,salah satunya adalah indeks Kemerdekaan Pers NTB naik signifikan dari peringkat 28 menjadi peringkat 12 ditahun 2021.
“Hal ini terwujud karena kontribusi seluruh teman-teman insan pers NTB, baik itu media cetak, online dan elektronik. Naik dengan nilai mencapai 4,02 poin.” tuturnya,.
Dr. Najam panggilan akrabnya berharap dengan kerjasama peningkatan kapasitas para insan pers, serta penguatan diseminasi informasi akan membuat Indeks Kemerdekaan Pers lebih baik lagi di tahun mendatang.
