Bupati yang hadir bersama Asisten Pemerintahan dan Kesra Fatahullah, S.Pd, Kadis Dikbudpora Zunaidin HI S.Sos, MM dan sejumlah pejabat eselon II dan eselon III lingkup Pemkab Bima dalam sambutannya mengingatkan pentingnya umat Islam menunaikan kewajiban untuk membayar zakat.
Dihadapan Camat Parado Hamzah S.Sos, unsur Muspika, para alim ulama, tokoh masyarakat dan elemen pendidikan di kecamatan tersebut, Bupati mengungkapkan, ‘keberadaan zakat sangat penting untuk membantu meningkatkan taraf hidup dan perekonomian umat Islam, khususnya kaum duafa karena bisa karena zakat yang terkumpul bisa direalisasikan untuk kemaslahatan umat Islam itu sendiri. Mari niatkan membayar zakat untuk membersihkan diri dan harta kita. Ajak Bupati.
Terkait optimalisasi pengumpulan zakat ini, Bupati secara khusus telah meminta kepada Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dikbudpora) kabupaten Bima untuk ditindaklanjuti oleh para kepala sekolah.
“Saya berharap agar pengumpulan zakat di kecamatan Parado sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan agar dapat dimanfaatkan sebesar-besarnya untuk memenuhi beragam kebutuhan masyarakat”. Jelas Bupati.
Usai menyampaikan arahan, Bupati kemudian membagikan 50 paket kepada para takmir masjid dan kaum duafa.(Prokim-MP)
