Dan di hadiri oleh wakil bupati,forum komunikasih pimpinan daerah(forkopimda),sekertaris daerah,asisten,staf ahli,ketua MUI kabupaten bima,kepala kementrian agama kabupaten bima,ketua FKUB kabupaten bima,ketua BAZNAS,ketua yayasan islam kabupaten bima,pimpinan OPD lingkungan pemerintah kabupaten bima,dan kapolres bima,kejaksaan negri raba bima.
Dalam sambutannya,bupati bima,hj,indah dhamayanti putri,SE menuturkan bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten bima menyambut baik serta turut mendukung pembangunan masjid tersebut,agar di manfaatkan bukan hanya para pegawai di lingkungan pemkab bima,melainkan juga bagi masyrakat luas demi terwujudnya cita,cita bersama yakni membangun program bima ramah.
“Dengan dilaksanakannya peletakan batu pertama masjid ini kita semua telah melaksanakan salah satu perintah agama dan Rosulullah telah memberikan motivasi dalam sabdanya ‘Barang siapa yang membangun rumah ibadah karena Allah, maka Allah akan membangun untuknya rumah di surga’,” Tuturnya.
Kadis perkim kabupaten menjelaskan proses pembangunan masjid ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar satu tahun lebih.Kami berharap pada 8 septeber 2021, masjid ini sudah bisa beroperasi dan memenuhi kebutuhan warga Kabupaten bima khususnya.
Lanjut kadis parkim bapak taufik,ST,MT,Masjid agung dibangun dengan luas bangunan 6474 M2 meter persegi dan terdiri dari atas bagian bangunan sebagai berikut:Lantai dasar: meliputi ruangan ball room 567m2,tiga ruang kantor dengan luas162m2,enam ruangan tempat wudu,dua rangan penitipan barang ,dan ruangan serkulasi;Lantai satu:ruang sholat pria 2025m2 dan pelataran 2877m2.
Lantai dua di peruntukan untuk ruang sholat wanita seluas 1080m2.Pekerjaan menara mesjid dalam dokumen sayembara terdapat dua menara utama tapi dalam pwkaksanaan satu menara yang di bangun /di kerjakan.
