Lombok Timur-MP- Sabtu (15/08/2020) akhir pekan ini Gubernur NTB,Dr.H.Zulkieflimansyah bertualang menjelajahi Hutan Tanaman Industri di Desa Pandak Guar,Kabupaten Lotim dengan mengendarai sepeda motor untuk melihat potensi lamtoro yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku pakan ternak.
Melihat potensi yang sangat luar biasa, Gubernur meminta kepada pihak pengelola dan masyarakat untuk menjaga potensi hutan ini,demi terjaganya kehijauan alam NTB. Terlebih Provinsi NTB dikenal sebagai provinsi dengan keindahan alamnya.
“Dusun Tiboborok,Desa Padak Guar,mantap,keren,cocok menghilangkan stres,trus motoran,kepada masyarakat dan petugas agar tetap semangat dalam menjaga hutan kita ini,” katanya.
Tidak menyia-nyiakan kesempatan, Gubernur lulusan Harvard University ini beserta sejumlah kepala OPD yang ikut serta dalam petualangan tersebut langsung mengabadikan keindahan alam di tempat tersebut.
Gubernur meminta kepada OPD terkait untuk ikut berperan aktif dalam mengembangkan potensi alam di desa ini. Selain itu, ia juga meminta kepada pengelola agar masyarakat di sekitar dapat diberdayakan sehingga alam yang indah ini dapat sejajar dengan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Jangan lupa nanti masyarakat sekitar diberdayakan dan diperhatikan kesejahteraan mereka,” kata Gubernur yang kerap disapa Bang Zul ini.
Kawasan ini mulai dikembangkan tahun 2015 setelah empat tahun mendapatkan izin pengelolaan yakni tahun 2011. Kini masyarakat setempat dijadikan garda terdepan dalam pengembangan kawasan tersebut.
Pimpinan PT. Sadhana Arif Nusa,Kuswanto Setiabudi selaku pengelola menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih kepada Gubernur atas kunjungan yang dilakukan hari ini. Ia mengatakan bahwa kawasan ini dibangun tidak hanya untuk lahan penghijauan, namun juga sebagai hutan lestari.
“Awalnya kita rencanakan untuk membangun hutan energi kayu, bahan bakar untuk open tembakau,namun tahun 2018 kita memutuskan beralih membangun hutan lestari,kita tanam tapi tidak kita panen,” terangnya.
Kuswanto mengaku bahwa ia sedang menyiapkan satu bentuk ekowisata yang menarik untuk wisatawan,namun tidak merusak lingkungan.
Ia mengungkapkan bahwa dari 2.000 hektare lahan yang berada di Kecamatan Sambelia tersebut,ada 650 hektare disediakan untuk 650 mitra petani yang berasal dari masyarakat sekitar.
Di area tersebut,masyarakat sebagai mitra masing-masing mengelola lahan seluas satu hektare.Dalam satu hektare tersebut jelasnya,masyarakat diberikan kambing beserta kandangnya untuk diternakkan.Dalam lahan tersebut ditanam pula lamtoro sebagai pakan.
“Ada kandang,ada 30 ekor kambing dan dijual setiap enam bulan sekali, jadi,setahun dua kali,” ungkapnya.
Dengan sistem pemberdayaan seperti ini,Kuswanto berharap masyarakat memiliki mesin ekonomi yang menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi mereka sendiri.
Dalam proses pengerjaannya,telah dicoba berbagai jenis tumbuhan,namun yang tahan di kawasan ini adalah ekaliptus dan akasia.Untuk kemitraan dengan masyarakat yang luasnya 650 hektare, PT Sadhana menanam lamtoro,gamal,sono,serta imba.
Pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan ini juga didukung oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Timur yang mana pihak kabupaten mengambil bagian dalam pengembangan ini.
“Kami disuport juga oleh Pak Bupati,beliau membangunkan kita jalan dan sumur bor,Nama pak gubernur juga membantu kita pada perbaikan genetik kambing boer,kandang,dan air dari atas berupa embung” tuturnya.
Di akhir penyampaiannya,ia mengatakan bahwa tujuan dari pemberdayaan ini adalah swasembada daging yang mana ia menargetkan sebanyak 1.000 mitra.Dengan begitu,dalam 6 bulan, masyarakat dapat menghasilkan sebanyak 30.000 ekor kambing siap panen.(HN-MP)
