Metropembaharuancq Tajam dan Terpercaya
Mataram-MP-Gubernur NTB, Dr. H. Zulkieflimansyah didampingi sejumlah Kepala Perangkat Daerah lingkup Provinsi NTB meninjau progres pembangunan Bendungan Meninting,Kabupaten Lombok Barat,Rabu, 6 Januari 2021.
Proses pembangunan Bendungan Meninting seluas 50 hektar berjalan lancar. Gubernur optimis pembangunan bendungan yang akan mampu menampung debit air sebesar 12 juta kubik ini, akan dapat diselesaikan sesuai target pada September 2023.
Untuk itu, gubernur meminta dukungan semua pihak agar kerja besar ini dapat dituntaskan dengan baik sesuai target. “Ini adalah sebuah kerja besar, tapi dengan kebersamaan, semua Insya Allah akan jadi mudah,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala BWS Nusa Tenggara I, Dr. Hendra Ahyadi ST., MT, menjelaskan Bendungan Meninting ini memiliki luas 50 hektar dengan kedalaman 80 meter. Bendungan Meninting akan dijadikan sebagai objek wisata, karena viewnya yang sangat indah. “Kita bisa lihat view Kota Mataram dari atas Bendungan ini,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, Bendungan Meninting juga akan dibangun Museum Bendungan, sebagai salah satu objek wisata untuk melihat historis pembangunan bendungan-bendungan yang ada di NTB.
Bendungan ini nantinya akan dibangun saluran yang membelah Pulau Lombok. Sepanjang jalur tersebut juga akan dibangun jalan inspeksi sepanjang 60 km yang tembus ke Mandalika.Jalur inspeksi ini akan dijadikan jalur sepeda,sehingga ini diharapkan akan menjadi objek wisata baru.Terutama untuk event sepeda berkelas internasional.
“Pembangunan jalur sepeda ini kita harapkan jadi objek event wisata baru,di mana Bendungan Batujai sudah ada wisata pacuan kuda,”ujarnya.
