Monta-MP-SMAN 1 monta berhasil menjadi yang terbaik dalam lomba journalis yang dilaksanakan oleh stisip kabupaten bima Adapun juara ke empat diraih oleh perwakilan siswa SMAN 1 monta.
Hadiah dan sertifikat para pemenang diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala stisip kabupaten kota bima di Panggung utama stisip bima Rabu (26/2/21).
Lomba yang bertema “Jurnalistik” ini dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan siswi dalam jurnalistik.
“Pada intinya kegiatan ini mengajak kaum generasi muda atau pelajar agar melek IT, sebagai bekal bagi mereka nantinya khususnya yang memiliki bakat dalam bidang jurnalistik,”katanya.

1. Anggun Pratiwi
2. Febi Dwi Maulani
3. Fitri Awalia Putri
4. Innes Komariah
5. Iqlima Putri.
Siswi SMAN 1 monta yang berhasil meraih juara harapan satu dalam lomba jurnalis ini menyampaikan,rasa syukur dan bangga atas prestasi yang diraih tersebut.
“Alhamdulillah kami bisa menjadi yang terbaik walaupun juara harapan satu,semua ini berkat dukungan guru pembimbing
bapak Haerudin spd dan kepala sekolah sman 1 monta bapak Drs,fadil yang selalu mendukung dan menspot kami,juga serekan-rekan di sekolah dan semoga kedepan lomba seperti ini bisa menjadi kegaitan yang rutin dilaksanakan,”tandasnya.
Sebelumnya,lomba jurnalistik ini digelar pada bulan lalu di lokasi arena Sitisip bima.
“Lomba jurnalis ini merupakan ekskul baru yang ada di SMAN 1 monta,namun saya sangat bangga kepada mereka.Karena walaupun mereka baru,tetapi telah berhasil mengharumkan nama SMAN 1 monta ditingkat kabupaten dan kota bima.Ini merupakan pencapaian yang luar biasa,” ungkap pak fadil,kepada awak media metro pembaharuan Sabtu(6/3/2021 di ruangan kepalah sekolah.
“Saya sebagai kepala sekolah turut bangga kepada Jurnalis SMAN 1 monta Ini merupakan prestasi perdana ikut lomba Jurnalis Walaupun terhalang oleh waktu yang singkat,tetapi mereka bisa menghasilkan yang terbaik,terus berkarya dan berprestasi.Saya harap semoga kedepannya Jurnalis SMAN 1 monta bisa berpartisipasi dalam berbagaai event lainnya serta dapat mengharumkan nama SMAN 1 monta” ujar Pak Fadil
pada kesempatan yang sama, pembimbing Jurnalis SMAN 1 monta pak haerudin.spd,mengaku sangat bangga kepada para siswa yang telah berhasil dalam pengambilan gambar dan wawancara
Dikatakannya,meskipun terdapat kendala waktu yang singkat, namun Jurnalis SMAN 1 monta tetap bisa mengatasinya dan berhasil memenangkan lomba walaupun hanya juara 4.
