Mataram-MP-Wagub NTB, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalillah menyatakan, bahwa untuk perencanaan pariwisata kedepannya, NTB memiliki komitmen untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat tanpa merusak lingkungan sekitarnya.
Hal tersebut diungkapkannya saat membuka kegiatan Lokakarya Program Pembangunan Pariwisata Terintegrasi dan Berkelanjutan (P3TB) di Ballroom Golden Palace Hotel, Senin (12/9).
“Sangat disayangkan apabila tempat yang indah ini tidak dijaga dengan baik, terutama dari sisi lingkungannya, sehingga apapun yang dilakukan dapat terencana dengan baik untuk seluruh destinasi pariwisata nasional yang ada,” ujarnya.
Ketua Tim Pelaksana P3TB, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti berharap bahwa adanya pertemuan ini dapat memperbaharui pemahaman dan memperkuat komitmen untuk kolaborasi, berdiskusi dan mengevaluasi hal-hal yang telah dilaksanakan juga rencana-rencana yang akan dilakukan tahun mendatang.
“Seiring penanganan Pandemi Covid-19 yang semakin baik, kondisi ini memperlihatkan peningkatan mobilitas dan aktivitas masyarakat dibuktikan dengan mulainya digerakkan event-event pariwisata seperti WSBK dan MotoGP”, ungkap Amalia yang juga Deputi Bidang Ekonomi pada Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional.
Menurutnya, P3TB ini merupakan program pemerintah dengan Bank Dunia yang bertujuan memajukan industri pariwisata Indonesia dengan meningkatkan kapasitas kelembagaan, peningkatan infrastruktur, pemberdayaan masyarakat dan peningkatan iklim investasi.
Tahap awal P3TB ini memprioritaskan 6 Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN) yakni Danau Toba, Borobudur-Yogya-Prambanan, Lombok, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru, Wakatobi dan Labuan Bajo.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini, Dirjen Bina Pembangunan Derah Kemendagri, Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Regional Bappenas, Kepala Bappeda 7 Provinsi, Kepala Bappeda 25 Kabupaten/Kota, serta seluruh pemangku kepentingan terkait(Diskominfotik-MP)
