Visi yang diemban vokasi PPD bima yaitu menjadi lembaga pebdidikan vokasional yang menghasilkan lulusan bermutu trampil dan berdaya saing dalam bidang IPTEK yang berlandaskan iman dan taqwa.
Untuk mewujudkan cita-cita ini lanjutnya,sistim pendidikan menggunakan sistim paket yang tersusun dalam bentuk ekuliah,field trip,praktikum pratekkerja lapangan (PKL) dan tugas akhir dengan total muatan program sebesar 110 hingga 120 SKS dengan proposi 40% kuliah tatap muka dan 60% pratikum di laboratorium dan lapanga.

Di samping itu,alumni diharapkan kreatif dalam melakukan analisis sederhana dengan bantuan teknologi komputerisasi yang tersedia,kreatif dalam rekayasa bagi peningkatan nilai tambah produk pertanian.

Pendaftaran calon mahasiswa baru tes mandiri berlangsung bulan April sampai dengan Agustus 2020.Bagi mahasiswa yang berprestasi,kampus vokasi menyediakan beasiswa.
