Kab bima-MP-Bupati Bima menerima kunjungan Tim Pembangunan Kampus IAIN Bima, dari Kementerian Agama RI, di Ruang Rapat Utama Kantor Bupati,Jum’at 28 Mei 2021 pagi.
Tim dipimpin Prof Ahmad Thib Raya, selain diterima Bupati Hj Indah Dhamayanti Putri SE, juga diterima Wakil Bupati Bima Drs.H Dahlan HM Noer,Asisten I Setda Bima Drs.H Putarman dan Asisten III Setda Drs. H Arifudin HMY.
Ikut bersama rombongan,selain Sekda Kota Bima Drs.H Muhtar Landa,ada pula Direktur Prof. Doktor Suyitno,dan staf khusus Kementerian Agama Hasan Basri Sagala.
Bupati Umi Dinda menyampaikan terimakasih pada tim.Tentunya, pertemuan tersebut semuanya atas niat yang sama.Yakni segera mendirikan kampus IAIN Bima yang bisa menampung mahasiswa bukan saja dari Kabupaten,Kota Bima dan pulau Sumbawa.
Tetapi menjadi salah satu alternatif dan kebanggaan masyarakat Provinsi NTB untuk bisa melaksanakan studi.
“Kami sangat mensupport pendirian IAIN Bima ini,”ujar Bupati.
Kedepannya,selain sebagai alternatif.IAIN Bima,akan mampu menciptakan SDM agar bisa sejajar dengan SDM di luar daerah.
Bupati mengakui,semangat orang tua Bima untuk menyekolahkan anak mereka sangat luar biasa.
Dijelaskan Bupati Bima dua periode ini,orang tua boleh miskin,tetapi kehidupan anak-anak harus lebih baik.
“Mereka boleh buta huruf, tetapi anak-anaknya harus bersekolah tinggi,”ungkap Bupati.
Hadirnya Kampus IAIN Bima merupakan peluang bagi para Profesor dan Doktor asal Bima. Untuk pulang mengabdikan diri, mendarmakan ilmu mereka bagi generasi di daerah ini.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Bima, siap mendukung langkah yang diinisiasi oleh putra Bima. Selain sebagai akademisi, mereka juga ahli di bidang masing-masing.
Sementara itu, staf khusus Kementerian Agama RI, Hasan Basri Sagala mengapresiasi semangat generasi muda untuk melanjutkan pendidikan.
Itulah salah satu alasannya Kementerian Agama memberikan perhatian khusus untuk Bima.
“Ini alasan Kemenag merapat dan mendirikan Kampus IAIN Bima,”kata Hasan Basri.
Dijelaskan staf khusus ini, generasi muda Bima harus bisa melanjutkan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.
Dan membantu Kementerian Agama melakukan deradikalisasi di Indonesia. Karena Bima, masuk dalam salah satu zona penting.
Semangat deradikalisasi tidak semata-mata diselesaikan dengan pendekatan keamanan.
Tetapi melalui pendekatan pendidikan juga.
“Kami tidak meragukan komitmen Bupati dan Walikota dalam membangun Kampus ini,”lanjutnya.
Atas nama Kementerian Agama RI, Hasan Basri,menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Pemkab dan Pemkot Bima,telah menghibahkan tanah. (ProKom-MP)
