Dadibou.MP.Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS)Kabupaten Bima terus mengintensifkan tahapan sosialisasi sensus penduduk tahun 2020 (SP2020). Dalam upaya meningkatkan akses informasi masyarakat terhadap seluruh tahapan, BPS Kabupaten Bima bermitra dengan Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Statistik (Diskominfostik) Kamis (20/02/2020) menggelar Rapat Koordinasi (RAKOR) dan mengundang 60 peserta yang merupakan para kepala perangkat daerah, Kepala Bagian Sekretariat Daerah dan Camat Se-Kabupaten Bima di Aula Kantor Bupati Bima. Kepala BPS Kabupaten Bima Drs. Sapirin dalam pemaparannya pada RAKOR yang dipanduKepala Bidang Komunikasi Publik dan Diseminasi Informasi Diskominfostik Kabupaten Bima Suryadin S.S, M.Si mengatakan, SP 2020 merupakan upaya sistematis menyediakan data jumlah, komposisi,distribusi, dan karakteristik penduduk Indonesia menuju “Satu Data Kependudukan Indonesia” . Menurut Sapirin, Sensus Penduduk dan Perumahan Dunia 2020 disetujui pada saat Sidang ke-46 Statistical Commission dan diadopsi oleh PBB dan akan dilaksanakan pada 54 negara di dunia. Sensus penduduk dan perumahan sebagai salah satu sumber data utama untuk merumuskan, melaksanakan,dan memantau kebijakan dan program pengembangan sosial ekonomi inklusif dan kelestarian lingkungan serta menjadi instrumen pengukuran kemajuan Agenda 2030 untuk Tujuan Pembangunan Berlenjutan (Sustainable Development Goals). Dijelaskannya sensus penduduk secara nasional ini bermanfaat untuk mengetahui Keberadaan penduduk (de facto dan de Jure),Karakteristik penduduk berdasarkan Pendidikan,Pekerjaan,Jumlah penduduk yang meninggal,Jumlah penduduk yang tidak memiliki NIK dan sejumlah variabel lainnya.“Untuk menyukseskan sensus tahun ini Sapirin mengatakan bahwa instansi yang dipimpinnya akan menugaskan 800 orang tenaga pencacah yang menyebar pada 18 kecamatan yang ada”.Urainya. Menutup pemaparannya Sapirin menghimbau agar semua perangkat daerah dan camat membantu penyebarluasan informasi SP2020 dan mengedukasi masyarakat sekitarnya tentang pentingnya berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan Sensus Penduduk 2020 Dirinya juga secara khusus mengharapkan seluruh pegawai di lingkungan kerja, komunitas binaan dan masyarakat sekitar untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif pada Sensus Penduduk Online yang berlangsung tanggal 15 Februari sampai 31 Maret 2020) dan menerima kunjungan petugas pada Sensus Penduduk Wawancara tanggal 1 sampai dengan 31 Juli 2020.(BPS.Tim.KPDKB).
