Pemerintah Kabupaten Bima melalui Dinas Pariwisata Kamis (27/02) melakukan Peluncuran Calender of Events (CoE) Pesona Dana Mbojo Tahun 2020 yang dirangkaikan dengan Rapat Koordinasi (Rakor) Pembangunan Bidang Pariwisata yang dibuka secara resmi oleh Wakil Bupati Bima Drs. H. Dahlan M. Noer.
Peluncuran Kalender Pariwisata dan Rakor tersebut turut dihadiri oleh ketua DPRD Kabupaten Bima Muhammad Putera Ferryandi, S.Ip, Wakil Ketua DPRD Hj. Nurhayati SE, M.Si dan Ketua Komisi III DPRD Edy Muhlis, S.Sos.
Sebanyak 18 event akan digelar secara marathon selama delapan bulan Mulai Bulan Februari sampai dengan Oktober 2020. Sejumlah event tersebut dikemas dalam 8 event utama yang dimulai dengan Aksi sadar wisata dan Sapta Pesona pada bulan Februari yang dilanjutkan dengan pacuan kuda pantai pada bulan Maret dan Festival Labibano pada bulan April.
Event akan berlanjut dengan Workshop dan Lomba Video Kreatif Pariwisata bulan Juni, Festifal Uma Lengge bulan Juli dan kegiatan Teka Tambora pada Bulan Agustus. Kemudian pada September dihelat Festifal Sakosa dan Jelajah Alam Bima pada Bulan Oktober 2020.
Wabup Dahlan dalam sambutannya dihadapan 100 peserta yang berasal dari Perangkat Daerah, Camat, Instansi Vertikal, Kepala Desa pada Obyek Wisata dan Kelompok Sadar Wisata tersebut mengemukakan arti penting kehadiran pariwisata.
“Pariwisata penting untuk meningkatkan ekonomi kerakyatan. Karena itu, dalam membangun destinasi wisata penting untuk meningkatkan daya tarik sebuah objek. Sehingga bisa mendorong orang untuk tinggal lebih lama dan menjual sebuah objek”. Terang Wabup.
Aspek lainnya yang perlu mendapat perhatian para pemangku pariwisata adalah bahwa membangun pariwisata memerlukan SDM yang memadai dan keramahan masyarakatnya.
