Kab bima.MP.Menindaklanjuti hasil rapat Gubernur NTB dengan seluruh Bupati dan Walikota, di Mataram, Minggu, 15 Maret 2020, antisipasi merebaknya virus Covid 19 atau Corona, Pemerintah Kabupaten Bima, memutuskan untuk meliburkan semua satuan pendidikan mulai dari TK, SD dan SMP.
‘’Oleh karena itu, diminta kepada Sekda dan Kadis Dikbudpora untuk berkoordinasi dengan seluruh jajaran. Sembari menunggu surat edaran resmi Bupati Bima,’’ujar Kabag Protokol dan Komunikasi Pimpinan Setda Bima, M Chandra Kusuma Ap, Minggu, 15 Maret 2020.
Menurutnya, sekolah akan diliburkan mulai besok 16 Maret 2020 selama dua minggu kedepan. Namun diminta anak-anak tetap melaksanakan kegiatan belajar secara online di rumah masing-masing.
‘’Pemerintah tetap menghimbau untuk waspada, kandati belum ada korban jiwa,’’lanjutnya.
Bupati Bima meminta, pada semua tim yang sudah dibentuk tetap siaga pada masing-masing pos yang sudah ditentukan. Kemudian memastikan adanya rasa aman dan nyaman bagi masyarakat. Tetap turun memberikan himbauan agar warga tidak panik yang berlebihan.
Pasca viralnya Covid 19 ini, Pemkab Bima telah membentuk Posko Siaga Corona di Kantor Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bima, tim Penanggulangan Virus Covid dan menyediakan ruangan isolasi khusus bagi pasien suspec Corona.”Itu merupakan siaga pemerintah untuk masyrakat,”lanjut kabag yang perna menjadi camat woha dan belo ini.(PKSB).
