Masyarakat Desa Penimbung yang sudah masuk dalam data penerima langsung memperoleh paket bantuan tersebut. Bantuan itu sendiri diserahkan langsung oleh Gubernur.
Gubernur dalam kesempatan itu mengajak masyarakat untuk menghargai produk lokal, karena selama ini memang masyarakat kurang menghargai produk buatan lokal lantaran sudah terbiasa dengan produk-produk yang berasal dari luar. Padahal produk yang dihasilkan pengusaha lokal sudah semakin baik dan mampu bersaing dengan produk luar.
“UKM di NTB memiliki kualitas produk yang sangat baik, sehingga tidak hanya dijual di NTB saja bahkan bisa dijual ke seluruh indonesia,” jelasnya.
Menurut Gubernur, munculnya pandemi Covid-19 ini menjadi pelajaran bagi IKM/UKM untuk tetap berupaya meningkatkan kualitas produksinya agar semakin luas diterima di pasar lokal. Pelaku usaha di NTB bisa mengamati, tiru dan modifikasi kualitas produk di daerah lain dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas di dalam daerah.
“Oleh karena itu, kita memberikan kesempatan untuk belajar memperbaiki kualitas, mudah-mudahan jalan panjang kebahagiaan, kesejahteraan ini bisa kita rasakan,” tutup Gubernur.
Paket JPS Gemilang ini menggunakan produk lokal dengan melibatkan sebanyak 535 UKM/IKM di tahap dua ini. Setelah secara resmi diluncurkan, paket bantuan ini akan segera didistribusikan ke seluruh Kabupaten/Kota di NTB.
Sementara itu Kepal Desa Penimbung Abdul Haris mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pemerintah Provinsi NTB yang telah memilih Desa Penimbung sebagai lokasi peluncuran JPS Gemilang tahap II. Ia berharap agar masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19 yang belum menerima bantuan segera diberikan.
“Semoga Pak Gubernur tetap semangat, kami sangat berterima kasih karena selalu hadir dan memberikan semangat kepada kami. Sehingga kami mampu melewati keadaan yang sangat berat ini,” tutupnya.
Warga yang mendapat bantuan JPS Gemilang tersebut pun mengucapkan rasa syukurnya. Seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Muhammad Syahrozi. Menurutnya, bantuan JPS Gemilang ini sangat membantunya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari hari di masa pandemi.
