Lombok Tengah-MP-Gubernur NTB, Dr.H.Zulkieflimansyah menemani Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) RI, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno,Sabtu (16/01/2021) meninjau persiapan rumah warga di Desa Gerupuk Lombok Tengah yang didesain sebagai homestay atau penginapan untuk wisatawan yang akan menyaksikan perhelatan MotoGP Mandalika 2021.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno memuji desain penginapan rumah warga yang sederhana,namun terlihat mewah tanpa mengurangi nuansa lokal,bahkan ia berencana akan menginap di tempat ini pada kunjungan berikutnya.
“Ini konsepnya cantik ya,next trip kesini kita nginap satu malam,”tutur Menteri yang akrab disapa Bang Sandi ini.
Tak mau kalah,Gubernur NTB juga berencana ingin menginap di homestay rumah warga ini, bahkan ingin mendahului Menpar. Namun dijawab dengan santai oleh Bang Sandi dengan jawaban candaan.”Gubernur (menginap) di masjid aja,” candanya disambut tawa Gubernur.
Bang Sandi mengungkapkan, konsep penginapan ini sangat tepat sekali dengan fasilitas yang lengkap namun dengan harga terjangkau.Pembangunan ini menggambarkan kedekatan pemerintah dengan masyarakat. Ia memastikan akan menginap satu malam sebelum perhelatan MotoGP Mandalika digelar.
“Ini adalah infrastruktur yang berkeadilan karena masyarakat bersama pemerintah membangun fasilitas rumah swadaya,” terangnya.
Kementerian Pariwisata,kata dia,akan membantu mendorong masyarakat untuk melakukan promosi melalui digital, mengingat penginapan ini sangat penting bagi wisatawan yang akan menyaksikan event Internasional tahun ini.
“Pemasaran harus pakai digital, nanti kita akan fasilitasi, karena lintasan MotoGP sangat dekat sekali dari sini,pasti akan ramai sekali”tuturnya.
Total penginapan rumah warga yang ada di Desa Gerupuk ini sebanyak 50 rumah penginapan, dan keseluruhan yang tersedia di Kuta Mandalika adalah 300 unit rumah penginapan.Desa Gerupuk ini juga akan dilengkapi dengan spot sepeda, spot lari,sunset point,serta sarana penjualan suvenir.
Untuk menunjang akses ke Desa Gerupuk,Balai Jalan Bina Marga akan membangun jalan sepanjang 17,36 km di sekitar Desa Gerupuk. (ADPIM-MP)
