Rakor yang mengambilTema "Gerakan PKK lawan Corona yang berlangsung Rabu (6/5) di Ruang Rapat Bupati Bima tersebut mendengarkan laporan masing-masing Ketua TP PKK dan memaparkan langkah-langkah yang diambil dalam penanganan wabah. Hj.Rostiati yang didampingi Sekretaris dan para Ketua Pokja melaporkan kondisi Covid di Kabupaten Bima.Terkait peran tim penggerak PKK Kabupaten Bima rostiati memaparkan sejumlah langkah yang telah diambil. "Jajaran TP PKK.Kabupaten Bima menyediakan masker bekerjasama dengan Pemkab Bima dan Dekranasda dengan melibatkan Industri Kecil Mikro (IKM) yang ada di Kabupaten Bima.Upaya ini dilakukan agar meskipun dalam suasana wabah Covid,diharapkan secara ekonomi bisa membantu ekonomi masyarakat".Jelasnya. Kegiatan lainnya,bekerja sama dengan Dinas terkait membagikan masker dan sembako, pengiriman logistik berupa makanan dan minuman untuk Tim Gugus Tugas COVID dan Puskesmas terdampak wabah,Sosialisasi dan edukasi dampak Covid dan beragam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh masing-masing Pokja. Sebelumnya,Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Provinsi NTB,Hj.Niken Saptarini M.Sc dalam arahannya menekankan pentingnya peran TP PKK dalam penanganan pandemi ini "Saat ini sudah terjadi transmisi lokal COVID-19 di tengah masyarakat dan yang menjadi catatan adalah dari 275 orang yang terjangkit tersebut ada 24 orang anak-anak.Jumlah ini tergolong besar hal ini memerlukan perhatian khusus TP.PKK karena anak-anak merupakan bagian dari keluarga".Jelas Niken. Dikatakannya,penanganan COVID oleh TP.PKK Provinsi NTB telah ditindak lanjuti dengan menggelar sejumlah kegiatan melalui Pokja yang ada dalam kepengurusan TP.PKK Provinsi NTB memantau perkembangan Upaya Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga (UP2K) yang ada untuk diberdayakan dalam pembuatan masker. Kegiatan lainnya adalah kampanye edukasi masyarakat melalui media sosial secara dini memberikan informasi dan edukasi mengenai CovidTerang Ny.Niken.(Tim).
