Mataram-MP-Gubernur NTB Dr. H Zulkieflimansyah mengharapkan agar Badan Riset dan Sumber Daya Manusia ( BRSDM) Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) bisa menggandeng para investor untuk bersinergi dan mengembangkan sektor kelautan dan perikanan di Provinsi NTB. Terlebih potensi kelautan dan perikanan di daerah ini sangatlah besar.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Gubernur saat menerima kunjungan dari Kepala Badan Riset dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, Dr. Taslim Arifin, M. Si di ruang kerja Gubernur, Senin, 1 Februari 2020. Menurut Gubernur, kolaborasi dan sinergi dengan para investor sangat diperlukan dalam rangka meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Kita bekerjasama dengan investor itu menurut saya harus dilakukan, harus bersinergi. Bahkan bisa lebih, apalagi dengan Badan Riset pasti bisa memberikan hasil yang maksimal” ujar Bang Zul, sapaan akrabnya.
Bang Zul juga menyampaikan bahwa Pemprov NTB siap memfasilitasi seluruh kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh investor jika serius berinvestasi di NTB, “Saya senang ketika ada perusahaan yang serius berinvestasi, tugas kami membantu dan kami akan membantu, I’ll do my best” ucapnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Bang Zul juga memberikan tantangan kepada Badan Riset dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kelautan dan Perikanan untuk membangun Technopark khusus Kelautan dan Perikanan di Provinsi NTB. “Saya pikir kalau sampai ada Technopark Kelautan dan Perikanan di NTB bisa memberikan sebuah prospek yang sangat bagus, apalagi tahun ini, NTB disorot karena adanya MotoGP” ujarnya.
Sementara itu Dr. Taslim menyampaikan rencana Badan Riset Kelautan dan Perikanan untuk melakukan riset budidaya tambak udang, lobster, dan rumput laut di daerah ini. “Kami ingin mengarahkan budidaya ini ke arah industrialisasi, karena ini juga merupakan salah satu konsen korporasi dari Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, saya rasa ini bisa bersinergi dengan baik,” terangnya.
